    Advice
  • The corrosion protection achievable is greatly dependent on good pre-treatment of the surface. The metallic surface should be as clean as possible, according to EN ISO 8501. Any substances that could impair the adhesion to the surface should be removed. The surface must be dry and free from dust or grease. Thoroughly shake can until mixing balls are clearly audible. Clean the parts being worked on and spray several times from a distance of 15 to 20 cm. Take brief pauses between individual spray processes for intermediate drying. Users should always conduct tests before using the products. In conformity with EN ISO 1461, the layer thickness of the touch-up area should be 30 micrometres thicker than the locally encountered thickness of the hot-dip galvanisation.
