Our Circular Spigot Plates are designed to securely join duct sections in HVAC and ventilation systems. The male IL flanged spigot fits into a socket or coupling, forming a strong, stable joint, while the plate provides structural support to hold the duct in place on walls, ceilings, or other surfaces. This ensures airtight connections, maintains efficient airflow, and allows for easy installation and precise alignment of ductwork.
The size of the spigot plate is based on the diameter of the spigot:• For spigot sizes up to 250mm the plate will be spigot size + 100mm.
Example: 200mm spigot → approx. 300mm total plate diameter.
• For 300mm spigot and above,the plate will be spigot size + 150mm.
Example: 300mm spigot → approx. 450mm total plate diameter.
