A Double-Sided Spigot Plate is a flat steel plate fitted with two male spigots (pipe stubs), one on each side. Each spigot is sized to match the pipe’s outside diameter, allowing both ends to fit securely into ducting, sockets, or couplings. The spigots are spot-welded to the plate to create a strong, durable connection designed for HVAC ducting. This design allows reliable airflow, simple installation, and compatibility with a wide range of duct systems.
The size of the double-sided spigot plate is based on the diameter of the spigot:
• For spigots up to 250mm diameter:
Plate size is calculated as spigot diameter + 100mm.
Example: A 200mm spigot will be supplied on a plate approximately 300mm x 300mm.
• For spigots 300mm diameter and above:
Plate size is calculated as spigot diameter + 150mm.
Example: A 300mm spigot will be supplied on a plate approximately 450mm x 450mm.
